Worship & Music at St. Matthew

ccWorship is at the heart of the Christian life. The congregation gathers every Saturday and Sunday to worship together, to hear God’s Word, and to share the sacraments.

Worship at St. Matthew is a rich experience. Saturday service is at 5:00 in the Christ Chapel, a simple service, but with a full liturgy based on Holden Evening Prayer or Unfailing Light, with weekly communion. Music is lead by piano, flute and sometimes guitar.

sanctuarySunday morning’s 8:30 service follows more traditional liturgies, with adult, children and bell choirs, and organ helping to lead the worship each week. Sunday at 10:45 is a service with a more contemporary flavor, with a worship band and contemporary musical literature. Holy Communion is served at each service.

Human beings are created to live in love with God and neighbor, and when we worship the Triune God who is made known to us in Jesus, we are doing what God has made us to do. You are invited to worship with us at St. Matthew where we believe all who worship are brought closer to God and are strengthened for their service and lives.
